Chicken Drumsticks Da Pope

  • 10 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper
  • 6-8 pieces chicken drumsticks You can also use boneless chicken thighs and/or breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock


  1. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, Creole Seasoning, dried rosemary, salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and white pepper.
  2. Using either a large resealable bag or large mixing bowl with a lid, toss the chicken pieces in the olive oil. Make sure that the chicken pieces are coated in the oil. Add the garlicky seasoning mixture to the bowl and mix in with the chicken.
  3. Place the garlicky seasoned chicken pieces in the slow cooker along with the chicken stock. Cover; cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Serve Chicken Drumstick Da Pope with Parsley Lemon Rice, a green veggie, and a nice crusty bread. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

I will also use boneless chicken thighs with this recipe. They come out perfect and fall apart with the touch of the fork.
