If you’re spending Thanksgiving in New Orleans this year, here are 9 great restaurants serving a turkey dinner so you don’t have to worry about it.

{Turkey dinner from Copeland’s of New Orleans}

It’s an understatement to say that Thanksgiving is going to look a little different this year to what we know it to be. I used to prepare the big dinner in the old fashion way: my mother cooked everything.

But not this year.

To play it safe, we are planning a small dinner at home this year with just my wife, kids, and brother-in-law who has been in town for about a month now helping us out while the newborn is still in the NICU.

Our plan is to cater out a lot of the food – namely the turkey – so my wife and I can go up to the hospital and not worry so much about cooking. After talking to a few people on Facebook this past week, I’m hearing that a lot you of are doing the same thing: ordering out.

There is a great variety of restaurants looking to help you out if you’re in New Orleans. Here is a small list of restaurants that I have been notified of that want to help you have an amazing Thanksgiving dinner without the worry or pressure on you. It’s already a trying time and there’s no need to add additional stress to the situation. Plus, this is a great way to help a restaurant out.

If you know of any other restaurants that are offering a Thanksgiving dinner, mention them in the comment section below, and I’ll include them in the list.
